Background
Kimberly received a B.S in Corporate Communication and Art from Castleton State College and worked in communications for over two decades. She was raised with natural medicine as a first choice as her family doctor was Dutch and embraced holistic practices. Naturally when Kim’s first born son became sick at an early age and found no relief from the best allopathic doctors in New England, she sought out her first Naturopathic Doctor in 2003 and it changed the life of her family forever.
Training & Education
Kimberly is a certified Reiki Master and Reiki Master Teacher educated in the traditional Usui Ryoho lineage. Reiki is an ancient, gentle and hands-on healing therapy that facilitates deep relaxation, relieves pain and promotes healing and personal growth. Reiki stimulates each person’s innate healing potential.
Kimberly also practices Acutonics, a non-invasive system using specifically calibrated tuning forks that are used on acupuncture points, chakras and in the biofield in order to bring balance, harmony and wellness to each client. The protocol is rooted in East Asian Medicine, Energy Medicine, Cosmological studies and sound healing principles. An Acutonics session can be done alone or in combination with reiki and other energy work.
Kimberly is also certified in Energy Medicine with Allegra Learning Solutions and the University of New Hampshire. She often incorporates crystals, essential oils and selective music to support her sessions. She firmly believes that energy work provides the foundation for whole health.
Summary
Kimberly’s goal is to actively listen to clients’ needs and help them achieve balanced wellness through energy work. As a lifelong learner, she is always seeking out new coursework, events and experiences to strengthen her practice. Kimberly has a sincere passion to serve others and her personal experiences, approachability, and sense of humor results in one-of-a-kind healing experiences for her clients. Kim works with clients of all ages and backgrounds with special interest in working with mothers, teenagers and young adults. Areas of treatment and interest include anxiety, ancestral trauma, PTSD, hormonal imbalances, sleep issues, migraine and mood disorders. She is grateful every day to be part of the integrative team at the NH Health & Wellness Center.
