The Power of Spiritual Connection

August 3, 2020

As a Board-Certified Hypnotist, I work with clients to release destructive thoughts, attitudes, and self-sabotaging behaviors that add to the challenges of life. In these disruptive times, we are up against unprecedented encounters which require various support tools to uphold our mental, emotional, and physical health. There is tremendous power in one underestimated tool in particular – the power of spiritual connection.

As humans, we are comprised of body, mind, and spirit. In my profession, I support clients with a balance that includes the spiritual aspect of health, which for many, goes unnourished. I encourage clients to regularly include spiritual practices in their daily lives that resonate with them — meditation, yoga, Reiki, prayer, chanting, hiking, dancing, singing, and more.

Spiritual connection could be as simple as a mindful walk in the woods, thanking nature for the air we breathe, acknowledging the trees that give us oxygen, appreciating the birds who share their songs, and asking for assistance from spiritual guides. We are communal beings and thrive on being connected with one another, nature, and higher sources of wisdom. When we define our own spiritual connection, we feel less alone, more safe, and can experience magical and miraculous healing.

Another means of spiritual connection is through hypnosis, an altered state of consciousness where the subconscious part of the mind, the internal driver and storehouse of every memory, is in a place of focused awareness. A person in a hypnotic state is very relaxed, which allows them to tap into a place of inner knowing, become open to shift old patterns, and receive encouraging thoughts for positive change.

I learned hypnosis in the mid-90s to help myself and my children recover from intense personal trauma. Decades later, I help people find peace of mind in a variety of situations. Clients achieve goals, lower stress, get focused, change undesirable habits, improve sleep, and make incredible spiritual connections. Coming from a place of non-judgment, I am privileged to have guided thousands of clients to resolve patterns of negativity with their amazing minds and powerful guides.

We need to shift the negativity surrounding ourselves, as well as the negativity in today’s world, to a more positive state. Simple acts can make a huge difference in your mental and physical health, with a ripple effect that cascades through your family and those you touch.

I encourage my clients to make the extra effort to connect with other human beings – either safely in person or via technology. Studies show that face-to-face communication releases various neurotransmitters in our brains, making us more resilient to stress factors.

Do what brings you joy — journal, do simple crafts, or cook a healthy meal. If you need a pick-me-up, tune in from near or far to my good news radio show, Inspiring Hope with Lois Hermann  on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. ET on WSMN 1590 AM, WSMN 95.3 FM, or www.wsmn1590.com. I love featuring everyday people who are doing inspiring things to help each other and our world as they bring much needed hope to others.

I also work with clients to help keep their energy strong, which is critical for those who are particularly sensitive to external energies and influences. Many people benefit from energy clearing sessions and learn to use a Protective Bubble technique. This spiritual hygiene practice is designed to protect one’s energy from external interference, keeping your energy strong and protected. You can download the simple instructions here

For other guidelines to help shift yourself and our collective world in a more positive direction, I share channeled messages of ancient wisdom that I received through a series of sessions with a special hypnosis client. The Chronicles of Hope™ book series incorporates these teachings. Applying them into my life has stimulated tremendous growth in my spiritual awareness, both personally and professionally. These messages have given me the strength to navigate storms of intense negativity, while allowing me to bask in the sunshine of positive experiences. They have helped many clients and others as well.

Chronicles of Hope: The Anquietas: Book 1 is currently available in paperback, eBook and audiobook. Chronicles of Hope: The Collective: Book 2 is being released in Kindle eBook on Amazon on Saturday, August 8, 2020 for a special $1 rate (that day only). I hope you’ll join me on the journey to bring these timely messages to the world as quickly as possible. Our mission is to assist in expanding positive energy across the world, fostering hope, and saving our precious planet and the life that lives in, on, and around her. There are a variety of tools available to help support you during these challenging times as we all navigate uncertain and unchartered waters. Please remember to feed the spiritual part of your being when you are caring for your health. In the meantime, look up, stay positive, and be the light in someone’s day.
